About the Role
Junior Adventures Group is seeking a happy, enthusiastic, and passionate EYFS Leader committed to developing and nurturing team members and children. This role involves leading a team in providing safe, effective, and engaging wraparound care for children aged Nursery to Reception.
Responsibilities
- Manage, direct, and support staff in delivering a safe and effective program.
- Ensure team members are motivated and happy.
- Provide inclusive, fun, and engaging care for children.
- Inspire children to explore their interests.
- Plan, supervise, and deliver planned activities with structure and enthusiasm, including games, arts & crafts, downtime, and structured play.
- Implement protocols and policies with team members.
- Create unexpected experiences which make people go ‘WOW!’.
Requirements
- Must have a Level 3 EYFS Childcare Qualification.
- Management and Team leading experience is desirable.
- Able to demonstrate a real passion for working with children.
- Must meet requirements for compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education policy.
- Must provide two references, one from most recent employer and one from a childcare setting (if applicable).
- Must be eligible for a DBS check.
