About the Role
As a People Business Partner, you will support and advise operational management, site management, and employees to foster a committed and high-performing workforce at HelloFresh. You are an expert in advising across the entire employee lifecycle, managing key talent programs, implementing and ensuring compliance with HR policies and processes, and handling operational tasks in daily business. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various internal teams to develop tailored solutions for personnel-related requirements and contribute to strategic projects at the department or functional level, actively shaping the future of our company. This position is for a fixed term of 24 months, with a possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- You support and advise managers, site managers, and employees on all HR-relevant issues, contributing to the achievement of our corporate goals.
- You align HR measures with the strategy of your teams or the site and proactively approach managers to support them with challenges in daily interactions.
- As a coach and trusted point of contact, you guide managers and employees in their professional development.
- You manage the smooth implementation of central HR programs such as Payroll, Performance Management, and Talent Reviews.
- You actively use HR data to create meaningful reports and derive valuable insights and concrete solutions.
- You independently identify optimization potential in policies, processes, and compliance matters and implement measures for simplification and efficiency improvement.
- In close cooperation with other areas of the People Team, you develop joint solutions, actively contribute to projects, and use them to advance your skills.
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor/Master) with a focus on Human Resources or a related field, plus at least 3 years of professional experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally in a fast-growing (tech) company.
- Very good knowledge of labor law and personnel management processes, as well as sound experience in planning and implementing HR projects along the employee lifecycle, e.g., in Performance Management, Engagement, and Workforce Planning.
- Strong ability to build strong and trusting relationships with managers and relevant stakeholders and to communicate professionally with diverse target groups.
- Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills and a professional, confident demeanor.
- Analytical thinking skills and confident handling of HR data to systematically analyze complex challenges and derive suitable solutions.
- High degree of initiative and flexibility, and enjoyment of working in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.
- Proficient use of HRIS systems, ideally Workday, as well as MS Office and Google Workspace; very good written and spoken German and English skills.
