About the Role
As a Room Attendant at Soho House, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and comfort of guest rooms and suites, ensuring they meet the club’s high standards and contribute to an exceptional member and guest experience. This role is for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy independent work, and understand the importance of discretion in a luxury environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms, suites, and common areas according to club standards
- Replace linens, towels, and amenities as needed, ensuring consistency and presentation
- Check rooms for maintenance issues and report any faults or damages promptly
- Ensure guest belongings are respected and handled with care and confidentiality
- Maintain cleaning carts, equipment, and storage areas in a tidy and well-stocked condition
- Support laundry services, including sorting, folding, and transporting items when required
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including use of chemicals and PPE
- Communicate guest requests, room status changes, or incidents to the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Assist with turndown service or special requests when required
- Ensure hallways, stairwells, and service areas remain clean and clutter-free
Requirements
- Up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue
- Previous experience in housekeeping or room attendant role preferred
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time independently
- Basic spoken English and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
