About the Role
The Enterprise Risk team helps Monzo grow safely by ensuring appropriate risk frameworks, reporting, and governance are in place. This role operates within the second line of defence, partnering with various teams to deliver insightful risk reporting and support effective enterprise risk management. It offers high visibility and the chance to influence how risk information drives decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain clear and operational risk reporting processes for Monzo Bank Limited, meeting Group requirements.
- Develop fit-for-purpose, flexible, and future-proof risk reporting processes with the Group Risk Reporting team, providing business intelligence.
- Analyze risk data to generate insightful reports for senior stakeholders and committees.
- Produce Monzo Bank Limited Combined Assurance Plan (CAP) papers.
- Support the operation and embedding of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) across Monzo Bank Limited.
- Collaborate with the Group Risk team to ensure the Group Risk Taxonomy remains relevant.
- Support the Monzo Bank Limited Enterprise Risk & Compliance Committee operations, including governance, minutes, and action tracking.
- Support the Group Risk Culture agenda and provide risk culture updates for Monzo Bank Limited.
Requirements
- Experience in risk reporting and risk data management.
- Confidence in managing stakeholders at all levels and building effective working relationships across first and second lines of defence.
- Experience in prioritizing work at both tactical and strategic levels.
- Experience designing and delivering strategic risk initiatives, including risk change.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, aligning with Monzo's Tone of Voice.
