About the Role
The University of Law Business School seeks Lecturers/Senior Lecturers for its London Moorgate campus to provide tuition across its postgraduate and undergraduate course portfolio, focusing on employability and adapting to diverse learning styles.
Responsibilities
- Teach and assess across The University of Law Business School course portfolio.
- Deliver postgraduate and undergraduate BSc courses to a high standard.
- Mark in-course assignments and final assessments.
- Support students and deal with queries.
- Assist in the preparation of assignments and assessments.
- Participate in course design and review.
- Act as an academic coach to students, discussing problems, performance, and academic progression.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (in Business and/or Management) or professional qualifications.
- For Senior Lecturers – Fellowship of the HEA and Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PgCHE) or equivalent.
- Teaching in a Higher Education setting or an educational establishment.
- Flexibility to teach across a range of different subjects.
- Punctual, professional, and committed to teaching.
- For Senior Lecturers - Developed significant expertise in application and practical delivery of a range of teaching techniques, pastoral care, mentoring colleagues, assessments and marking, team leadership.
- If not currently holding a PgCHE or equivalent, enrollment into the program within 12 months of passing probation is required.
