About the Role

As a Solution Engineer, you will bridge engineering expertise and strategic influence, connecting business challenges to AI solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, driving the pre-sales process from discovery to closing deals and providing ongoing technical guidance to clients.

Responsibilities

• Position NC as a long-term strategic partner and trusted engineering advisor.
• Lead discovery sessions to identify impact areas and frame use cases.
• Define AI strategy and technical roadmaps for accounts.
• Create and deliver client-tailored demos and presentations.
• Create and co-own Statements of Work.
• Prepare and run Steering Committees.
• Drive user adoption and engagement.
• Identify and shape upsell and expansion opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Forward Deployed Engineering, Product, and R&D teams.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (mechanical, aerospace, automotive, industrial, or similar).
• Solid understanding of CAD and CAE workflows.
• Experience in a client-facing role (pre-sales, solutions consulting, technical account management, or engineering consulting).
• Fluent in English.

Skills

• AI and machine learning applied to engineering at a conceptual level.
• Creating demos and prototypes using AI-assisted tools.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Modern development practices.
• Deep, hands-on simulation experience.
• Strong programming skills (Python, data pipelines, ML/DL frameworks).
• Technical discovery and assessment of feasibility.
• Building end-to-end engineering workflow demos.
• Strategic or technical consulting background.
• Experience with engineering software tools.
• Background in ML/DL research or development.
• Automating CAE workflows.
