About the Role

This role is an opportunity to develop your career within a high-profile national team, supporting significant client engagements. You will gain exposure to senior stakeholders, complex programs, and strategic financial decision-making, working closely with engagement leaders and delivery teams to manage the financial health of large-scale client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Analyse budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Identify risks and opportunities.
• Provide practical insights to support successful project delivery.
• Monitor engagement financials.
• Maintain key reporting and tracking tools.
• Support change requests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure strong financial governance and compliance.
• Help teams understand the commercial impact of key decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial controls and reporting processes.

Requirements

• 2–5 years' experience in finance, project controls, PMO, commercial operations, project financial management or a related field.
• Australian Citizenship.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to interpret and communicate financial information.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, reporting or financial analysis within project or operational environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and building trusted working relationships.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to influence and educate stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
