About the Role
This role is an opportunity to develop your career within a high-profile national team, supporting significant client engagements. You will gain exposure to senior stakeholders, complex programs, and strategic financial decision-making, working closely with engagement leaders and delivery teams to manage the financial health of large-scale client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Analyse budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Identify risks and opportunities.
- Provide practical insights to support successful project delivery.
- Monitor engagement financials.
- Maintain key reporting and tracking tools.
- Support change requests.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure strong financial governance and compliance.
- Help teams understand the commercial impact of key decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial controls and reporting processes.
Requirements
- 2–5 years' experience in finance, project controls, PMO, commercial operations, project financial management or a related field.
- Australian Citizenship.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to interpret and communicate financial information.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts, reporting or financial analysis within project or operational environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and building trusted working relationships.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to influence and educate stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.

- Experience using financial systems such as SAP, Cognos, Anaplan or similar platforms.
