About the Role

As Kitchen Porter, you are the unsung hero who keeps our kitchen spotless, safe, and ready for action. You jump in where the team needs you, keep equipment shining, and ensure every plate that goes out starts with a clean slate. You will be part of a friendly crew that thrives on teamwork and takes pride in creating a smooth rhythm behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly
• Keep floors, surfaces, and bins clean following set routines
• Ensure all kitchen areas, including storage and prep spaces, stay spotless
• Assist the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed, such as unloading deliveries or organizing stock
• Keep kitchen tools and equipment organized to support an efficient workflow
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules like HACCP
• Handle cleaning materials and gear safely and responsibly
• Identify and report any issues or hazards immediately

Requirements

• No experience needed; training will be provided
• Some experience in a cleaning or support role is a plus
• Comfortable working in a busy, active environment on your feet
• Possess a team player mindset with a positive, flexible attitude
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in cleanliness
• Reliable and hard-working
• Clear communication skills, able to follow instructions and ask questions when in doubt
