About the Role
As a working student for the Regional News Editorial team in Berlin, you will be responsible for researching and preparing current news from the Berlin region for various channels, ensuring it is fast, precise, and digitally understandable.
Responsibilities
- Research current news from the Berlin region and prepare it quickly, precisely, and digitally understandably for various channels.
- Write news reports based on your own research and edit agency material directly in the content management system.
- Process agency reports in text and image format, ensuring target-group-oriented preparation.
- Formulate attention-grabbing headlines and concise teaser texts for digital news formats.
- Create content for public video screens and ensure regional screens are reliably supplied with current news and announcements.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a journalism apprenticeship, studying media, communication, or a comparable field, or have prior journalistic experience.
- Strong interest in fast, digital news journalism and regional daily events.
- Excellent, error-free, and precise writing skills with a strong sense of language for clear and target-group-oriented content formulation.
- Meticulous, structured work approach, maintaining quality under time pressure.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and enthusiastic about the dynamic daily life of a newsroom.
