About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced nurse to support a 6-year-old child in their home with complex clinical needs, working alongside the child and their sibling. This role involves building trust with the child and family, delivering high-quality, nurse-led care including TPN via central line, gastrostomy care, and medication management. You will ensure the children's safety, comfort, and development through consistent, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Support a 6-year-old child in their home with complex clinical needs.
• Work alongside the child and their younger sibling.
• Build a trusting relationship with the child and their family.
• Deliver high-quality, nurse-led care.
• Administer TPN via central line.
• Perform gastrostomy care.
• Manage medication.
• Ensure the children's safety, comfort, and development.
• Provide consistent, person-centred care in a home environment.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse Diploma/Degree with an up-to-date NMC Pin.
• 3 years of experience as a fully qualified paediatric nurse.
• A background in Complex Care Nursing.
• Commitment to providing the best possible care for the client.
• Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, caring, and compassionate.
• Previous and recent paediatric complex nurse experience is essential.
• Experience with TPN is essential for this role.
