About the Role
We are seeking dedicated support for 35-40 hours per week to assist in our veterinary practice, with a focus on anesthesia. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in medicine, animal care, or animal shelters who are eager to learn our practice workflows and specialize in anesthesia.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians in daily consultations with empathy.
- Prepare for and follow up on surgeries, including anesthesia monitoring.
- Provide compassionate care for inpatient animals in separate dog and cat wards.
- Perform independent laboratory tests and assist with digital radiography and ultrasound.
Requirements
- Previous medical experience (e.g., MFA, ZFA) or experience as an animal caretaker or from an animal shelter.
- Strong interest and motivation to deeply engage with veterinary medicine and anesthesia management.
- Stress-free, loving interaction with patients and empathetic demeanor towards owners.
- Reliable, structured work approach and genuine enjoyment of teamwork.
