About the Role
Element Logic is seeking an Automation Project Manager to lead the technical coordination and integration of automation and material flow systems within intralogistics projects, ensuring alignment across all automation disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Act as the central technical interface between engineering teams, suppliers, project management, and the customer.
- Manage the technical automation scope within projects, including PLC, electrical engineering, and conveyor technology.
- Coordinate engineering activities and track technical milestones.
- Monitor suppliers for quality, delivery, and specifications.
- Support commissioning and serve as an escalation point for technical issues.
- Ensure system integration across all interfaces and disciplines.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or comparable qualification.
- More than five years of relevant professional experience.
- Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
- Proven ability to work successfully in a team.
- In-depth experience with automation and intralogistics systems.
- Experience in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA).
- Experience in electrical engineering planning (e.g., EPLAN).
- Experience with material flow systems (conveyor systems, AS/RS integration).
- Extensive experience in intralogistics with a focus on material flow, warehouse design, and process optimization.
- High quality awareness, structured, and independent work style.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to effectively analyze and solve customer problems.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues and achieve common goals.
- Very good German and fluent English skills (C1).
