About the Role
Ensure all parking, traffic, and transportation issues are handled efficiently and effectively, adhering to Council policies, procedures, guidelines, and legislative requirements. Liaise with the public and staff on traffic matters and engineering work. Investigate and propose appropriate traffic facilities.
Responsibilities
- Deal with all Traffic, Transportation and Parking Management issues for the City of Randwick.
- Ensure that all parking, traffic and transportation issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively and in accordance with Council policies, procedures, appropriate guidelines and all legislative requirements.
- Liaise with the public and Council’s staff in relation to traffic matters and engineering work.
- Investigate and propose appropriate traffic facilities.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a Transport related discipline, or extensive equivalent experience in the Transport / Traffic Engineering area.
- Demonstrated ability to research, develop, coordinate, manage and implement a wide range of projects to a budget and within defined deadlines.
- High level interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
- Ability to communicate and consult effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

- From $112,422.05 per annum + 12% superannuation + leaseback vehicle/sustainability allowance
