About the Role
The Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Lead provides end-to-end solutions using Oracle Cloud applications, addressing client business requirements and solving business problems. This role requires strong finance business process knowledge and hands-on Oracle Financials Cloud experience to deliver business solutions with reduced reliance on PaaS solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the client to analyze business requirements and design end-to-end solutions using Oracle Financials Cloud
- Perform fit gap analysis and resolve functional issues
- Design, configuration, testing, deployment, training, and release management
- Serve as liaison between functional and technical teams to drive solution design specs
- Be an active member within company’s Oracle technology communities
Requirements
- 15 years or more of Oracle implementation experience with Cloud Financial applications with strong knowledge in GL, AP, CM, Tax and SLA
- Experience with Oracle and non-Oracle integration points with Purchasing, Core HR, Fixed Assets and Projects
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Strong consulting experience and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, business process designs, managing conference room pilots (CRPs), perform functional configuration, and manage testing of Financial ERP solutions
- Demonstrates leading practices knowledge or expertise
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
- Oracle Cloud Financial Accounting Hub, Lease Accounting, Joint Ventures, Project Finance
- Minimum of 3 project full life cycles
- Oracle Cloud Certifications
- Willingness to travel weekly as needed
