About the Role
Manage the daily operations and associated workforce at a fast-paced recycling and reuse operation for returned products and equipment, adhering to all company and legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the running of the recycling operation
- Ensure the site is utilising resource effectively, monitoring headcount, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Promote and develop a health and safety culture on site in line with the company’s policies
- Get involved with performance management, KPI monitoring and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- A warehouse operational management background
- An excellent understanding of health and safety policies and procedures
- Experience of leading teams, providing guidance, coaching, mentoring, and creating development plans
- The ability to communicate effectively in both a written and verbal capacity
