About the Role
Join SDN Surry Hills as a Certificate III qualified Educator to make a meaningful difference in children's lives. You will work across all rooms, broaden your experience alongside a supportive team, and deliver SDN’s innovative, high-quality, and inclusive program. Create engaging learning experiences, build strong relationships with children and families, and provide the care and support they need to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating and supporting children based on their interests
- Creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting children's physical, emotional, and developmental needs
- Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's developmental needs
- Supporting routines that promote flexibility, trust, security, smooth transitions, and wellbeing of the children at all times
- Building strong, respectful relationships with children and families
Requirements
- A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care with full working rights
- Relevant work experience in a similar role (6-12 months essential)
- Understanding of Child Protection legislation
- Holds an approved Current Child Protection Training qualification
- Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Standards
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid qualification
