About the Role
The IT Service Management Specialist will enhance service management capabilities and promote consistency across IT services. This involves supporting core ITIL processes, improving service visibility, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure service stability and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Improve core ITSM processes (incident, request, change) across the business
- Help drive consistency and governance across service delivery
- Work closely with service owners, project teams, and vendors to ensure alignment
- Build and maintain service reporting dashboards and insights (typically within ServiceNow)
- Track vendor performance against SLAs
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
- Support change activity to ensure minimal disruption to business operations
- Help uplift overall ITSM maturity across the environment
Requirements
- Understand how ITSM works and the mechanics of what good looks like
- Hands-on, service-centric approach with an appetite for ownership of core processes
- Apply an improvement lens to processes
- Analytical, collaborative, and process-minded
- Always looking for ways to improve process integrity and identify inefficiencies
