About the Role

As a member of the Catering team at Bodington, you will be preparing high quality food and providing a great dining service to our residents to ensure a high quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required
  • Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

Requirements

  • A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
  • Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
