About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide individual or group educational instruction to children in school, preschool, or early intervention programs.
- Deliver educational instruction as mandated in the IEP or IFSP.
- Assess and document the progress of each student through formal and informal tests and measures.
- Create materials and lesson plans.
- Oversee teaching assistants and aides, as needed.
Requirements
- A Masters degree in Special Education or Education from an accredited program is required.
- Must have a current special education teacher certification from NYSED.
