About the Role
Contribute to maintaining competitive advantage as a pharmaceutical company that continues to reinvest in science for patients by maximizing the benefits of products and portfolios through the planning and execution of excellent product strategies, delivering them to as many patients as possible.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and evaluate new indications.
- Deeply understand the market environment, customers, products, and portfolios, identify, structure, and analyze business challenges in collaboration with brand teams, related departments, and copromakers, and formulate product strategies to solve them.
- Take responsibility for planning, executing, and evaluating parts of the execution plan based on product strategy.
- Clarify the market environment, verify hypotheses for strategy formulation, and evaluate measures through primary and secondary research with researchers, and verify and improve strategies.
- Propose and gain approval and support from internal and external stakeholders for strategy formulation and execution.
- Ensure smooth communication with other departments, including the sales department, and effective management of external medical experts to thoroughly execute strategies.
- Support the maximization of product value beyond Japan in cooperation with global teams and other countries.
Requirements
- 3+ years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- 3+ years of experience collaborating on digital channels with pharmaceutical industry clients.
- Communication skills necessary for smooth business execution (facilitation, presentation, negotiation).
- Attitude of focusing on the quality of deliverables, not just the process.
- Attitude of continuing to challenge oneself without settling in one's area of expertise.
- Ability to objectively grasp phenomena based on facts and accurately understand the current situation.
- Ability to achieve high results as a team, not just as an individual.
- Have something that can be confidently explained as one's own achievement in current work.
