About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to bring your energy and passion for enriching the lives of our clients into this fun, dynamic and varied role. Reporting to the Health & Wellness Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for transporting our elderly clients for social outings, appointments from various locations including wheelchair transport and other driver duties. You will also be responsible for overseeing the operational conditions including cleanliness of the Centre bus.

Responsibilities

  • Transporting elderly clients for social outings and appointments
  • Providing wheelchair transport
  • Performing other driver duties
  • Overseeing operational conditions of the Centre bus
  • Ensuring cleanliness of the Centre bus

Requirements

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • LR manual license
  • Compassion and empathy for Older Australians
  • Occupational Health & Safety knowledge
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check

Skills

  • Experience in transporting elderly passengers
