About the Role
Docusign is seeking a Brand Strategist to lead the brand's long-term evolution, bridging market intelligence and execution. This role will guide the Docusign brand from its current category leadership to a future as a category platform owner, ensuring all brand touchpoints are informed by market insight and strategic intent.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage day-to-day activities for net-new product, feature, packaging, and other naming.
- Govern naming and nomenclature across products and experiences, maintaining documentation and aligning teams with customer-first systems.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Product teams to reduce messaging fragmentation and ensure adherence to standard naming guidelines.
- Assist in the rollout and maintenance of the multi-year brand and category roadmap, supporting frameworks for brand positioning, architecture, and messaging.
- Maintain and track baseline measurements for category and brand share of voice (SOV), compiling insights from the tracking infrastructure.
- Assist in documentation and coordination for AI Surface Strategy initiatives with strategic AI partners.
- Socialize and advocate for the verbal brand identity across the organization, reviewing cross-functional assets and partnering with copywriters for tone alignment.
- Manage brand health and sentiment research projects, transforming raw data into clear insights for stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between high-level strategy and creative execution, writing briefs for the brand team.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing coordination, or account planning (in-house or agency side).
- Prior experience working within a B2B or SaaS environment.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable using data tools and research reports to extract insights.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, capable of distilling data into clear briefs for creative teams.
- Collaborative mindset, skilled in organizing cross-functional projects and building relationships across teams.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Salary/Compensations
- California: $132,700.00 - $206,800.00 base salary
- Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $126,500.00 - $173,900.00 base salary
- Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $132,700.00 - $182,500.00 base salary
