About the Role

Service Stream is seeking a Junior Bid Writer to join the team in Chatswood. This role focuses on supporting the development of winning tender proposals through the use of AI tools and collaboration with subject matter experts to deliver compelling solutions for essential services infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Review tender documentation to identify evaluation criteria and source relevant information.
  • Utilize AI tools to develop response templates based on tender requirements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to draft and refine technical and operational responses.
  • Ensure all proposal content is clear, concise, well-structured, and aligned with requirements.
  • Maintain a central repository of bid-related documents, templates, and past responses.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure bids are error-free and coherent.
  • Ensure compliance with formatting guidelines, submission instructions, and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and supply chain partners to gather accurate information.
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and ensure timely communication.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and clarification sessions.

Requirements

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to structure information clearly.
  • Ability to read and understand technical and operational documentation.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Demonstrated interest and confidence in using AI tools for writing and research.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills under deadline pressure.
  • Experience working in a team setting with diverse discipline groups.
  • Experience using document management systems, SharePoint, or bid libraries (desirable).
  • Experience working for a Transport Infrastructure Services contractor (desirable).
