About the Role

Join the LEGO® Brand Retail team as a Sales Associate (Brick Specialist) at our new store opening at Markville Mall in Markham ON and provide inspirational guest experiences in an interactive and vibrant store environment. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic individuals to join us on a part-time basis. This position is being hired as a seasonal role to support our new store opening. Seasonal team members who demonstrate strong performance, alignment with our values, and business needs may be considered for permanent opportunities as they become available.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a signature experience for every guest by greeting every guest, performing all cash register functions and portraying a professional, gracious, friendly and engaging manner at all times.
  • Provide a clean, safe and visually stimulating environment by performing daily cleaning duties, maintaining store displays and learning and executing LEGO® Brand Retail visual standards.
  • Safely and efficiently operate the store stockroom by assisting in the receiving of merchandise, maintaining the stockroom to LEGO® Brand Retail standards, knowing and abiding by all safety regulations and notifying management of potential shortage situations.
  • Resolve customer issues and report challenging situations to manager.
  • Customer engagement.
  • Use of promotional materials and loyalty programs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
  • Process information/merchandise through the register system.
  • Work various hours, days, nights and weekends as business decides.
  • Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock area.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work various hours, days, nights and weekends as business decides.
  • Must provide availability for up to 25 hours per week, including at least one full weekend day. Availability must span at least three days.
  • Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
  • May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
  • Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Involves lifting at least 30 lbs.
  • Candidates offered positions with high engagement with children are required to take part in Child Safeguarding Background Screening, as a condition of the offer.
