About the Role
W Sydney is seeking a Full Time Chef de Partie for their BTWN Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have genuine excitement and passion for food, a desire to grow in the industry, and experience working with quality products, assisting in the pastry section. This role requires a commitment to learning and achieving excellence.
Responsibilities
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
- Complete safety training and certifications
Requirements
- Proven chef experience in a fast-paced and quality-driven working environment
- Well-developed ability to work independently and as part of a strong, diverse, and dynamic team
- Passionate about food and keen to showcase ability in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and strong work ethic
- Enthusiasm, awareness, and great teamwork
- Able to communicate and showcase reliability
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a high-quality restaurant or hotel kitchen
- Passion for creating innovative, flavorful dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen brigade
- Available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed for business demands
