About the Role

Opportunity for a Case Management Specialist within the Personal Injury Insurance Unit, Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Command. This role is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives across personal injury portfolios, driving improved performance, service delivery, and outcomes. The specialist ensures a coordinated, evidence-based approach to injury management through effective engagement with insurers, service providers, and key stakeholders, aiming to optimize claim performance, health, recovery, and return-to-work outcomes for injured NSW Police Force employees.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing strategic initiatives across personal injury portfolios.
  • Driving improved performance, service delivery, and outcomes.
  • Ensuring a coordinated, evidence-based approach to injury management.
  • Influencing portfolio trends, mitigating risks, and optimising claim performance, health, recovery and return-to-work outcomes for injured NSW Police Force employees.

Requirements

  • Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
  • Successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check.
  • Successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.

Skills

  • Identifying trends and emerging issues across a claims or injury management portfolio.
  • Leading initiatives that delivered measurable improvements in claims, return-to-work, or injury management performance across a portfolio or business unit.
