About the Role

As a Senior IT Solution / Software Architect in Public Sector Consulting, you will support diverse clients in the public sector at federal, state, or local levels on their digitalization journey. Our team develops innovative solutions and services to drive the digitalization and modernization of our country's IT and shape the IT architectures of the future.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients in the public sector on the design of IT systems, IT services, and system architectures.
  • Develop and implement solution designs for complex IT client environments in an agile setting.
  • Apply architectural standards such as TOGAF, ITIL, CPSA, IREB, COBIT, and agile methods like SAFe, Scrum, SoS, DevOps in project implementation.
  • Ensure the implementation of comprehensive IT projects for clients, specializing in implementation and development projects in a modern environment.
  • Provide valuable input for business development and sales to acquire new clients or expand business with existing clients.
  • Contribute actively from the creation of technical solution designs to supporting proposals.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Financial or Business Mathematics, Statistics, (Business) Engineering, Computer Science, or Natural Sciences (STEM) or equivalent.
  • Several years of experience in IT architecture, IT architecture frameworks (e.g., ADMBw, NAF), IT software development and programming, IT infrastructure (planning, dimensioning, cybersecurity) and operations (ITSM).
  • Proven, solid knowledge in IT project and ideally program management.
  • Aptitude for complex tasks, conceptual thinking, and teamwork.
  • Demonstrably acquired qualifications in several of the following tools and methods: BPMN, UML, Sparx EA, Archimate, or comparable.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Good communication and presentation skills in German and English.
