About the Role

In this role, you will reshape value chains by developing AI solutions with clients across the entire value chain, from purchasing to quality. You will identify and evaluate AI use cases, integrating Machine Learning, Generative AI, and agentic approaches with business challenges. As a liaison between business, data, and technology, you will implement AI solutions economically and scalably.

Responsibilities

• Develop domain-specific AI visions, strategies, and roadmaps for purchasing, supply chain, production, or quality in collaboration with clients.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases based on business relevance, economic potential, data availability, and technical feasibility.
• Analyze infrastructure and data availability to determine prerequisites for successful implementation.
• Develop robust architecture and implementation concepts, integrating them into existing infrastructure, data, and process landscapes.
• Implement AI applications close to the client, define economic, usage-based, and technical success criteria, and support scaling within client organizations and processes.

Requirements

• Excellent university degree in (Business) Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Domain understanding with the ability to comprehend and structure business challenges in purchasing, supply chain, production, or quality, and translate them into domain-specific AI visions, strategies, and functionalities.
• Programming skills, e.g., in Python and/or TypeScript, and experience with AI-based code assistance tools.
• Initial practical experience in developing classic Machine Learning models and Generative AI solutions, e.g., RAG, ideally agentic AI systems.
• Experience with cloud services and cloud architectures, e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• High commitment, strong team orientation, agile working methods, and enjoyment of communication and presentation in an international environment.
• Relevant practical experience domestically or abroad, ideally in a consulting firm.
• Willingness to travel.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
