About the Role
As a Senior Consultant SAP AI Development & Gen AI, you will be part of our SAP-AI initiative, developing innovative AI solutions and ensuring their seamless integration into the business processes of our international clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop intelligent, AI-based applications/agents using modern technologies like Python, LangChain, LangGraph, or Claude SDK.
- Develop and implement solutions on the SAP BTP to create innovative applications, utilizing the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model for seamless integration.
- Integrate APIs via SAP AI Core and optimize model performance through advanced prompt engineering.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to enrich LLMs with custom knowledge from SAP systems using technologies like SAP HANA Cloud Vector Engine, Pinecone, or ChromaDB.
- Collaborate in an agile team with BTP architects, subject matter experts, and project managers.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Business Administration with a focus on Informatics, or a comparable field of study.
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), particularly SAP AI Core.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and SAP integrations (e.g., OData services, APIs) is ideal.
- Experience in AI development, proficiency in Python, AI/ML libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn).
- Practical experience with Generative AI (e.g., prompt engineering, LangChain, Claude/OpenAI SDKs) and REST APIs.
- Understanding of modern architectural concepts (e.g., Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Initial experience with vector databases such as SAP HANA Vector Engine, Pinecone, or ChromaDB.
- Willingness to travel.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
