About the Role
The Property Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for coordinating personnel on shift to achieve effective completion of maintenance works, playing a pivotal role in shaping the success of the Property Operations team.
Responsibilities
- Set specific performance objectives for direct reports and supervise service flow
- Coordinate resource requirements during each shift to ensure business needs are met
- Support the Property Operations leadership team to provide direction regarding operational aspects of the department
- Provide reporting on shift labour, productivity, and staffing levels
- Assist with the coordination, prioritisation, and scheduling of work orders
Requirements
- Trade certificate in construction or maintenance
- Previous experience in an environment with a high turnover of maintenance requests, such as hospitality
- Good all-around knowledge of building services
- Prior experience throughout Engineering and/or Maintenance
- Skilled in property maintenance
- Enjoy working alongside a large team
- Keen eye for detail
- Proactive approach
- Ability to ensure smooth operations while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency
