About the Role

The Property Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for coordinating personnel on shift to achieve effective completion of maintenance works, playing a pivotal role in shaping the success of the Property Operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Set specific performance objectives for direct reports and supervise service flow
  • Coordinate resource requirements during each shift to ensure business needs are met
  • Support the Property Operations leadership team to provide direction regarding operational aspects of the department
  • Provide reporting on shift labour, productivity, and staffing levels
  • Assist with the coordination, prioritisation, and scheduling of work orders

Requirements

  • Trade certificate in construction or maintenance
  • Previous experience in an environment with a high turnover of maintenance requests, such as hospitality
  • Good all-around knowledge of building services
  • Prior experience throughout Engineering and/or Maintenance
  • Skilled in property maintenance
  • Enjoy working alongside a large team
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Proactive approach
  • Ability to ensure smooth operations while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency
