About the Role
The State Street Global Delivery team is seeking a professional with Investment Management Operations and Investment Accounting experience to manage daily client activities within the Front Office Support Team and support strategic client onboarding. This role involves daily interaction with clients' front office management, acting as a subject matter expert, and ensuring adherence to client SLAs and internal deadlines. The candidate will also provide analytical support for change requests related to the BAU operating model.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact point for the client's Front Office team, triaging issues and ensuring resolution by engaging internal teams as necessary.
- Provide technical support to clients requiring assistance with front office systems using CRIMS and strong communication skills.
- Maintain industry knowledge to suggest standard methodologies and process improvements.
- Track and proactively manage BAU client queries related to Front and Middle office to ensure timely response and resolution.
- Engage teams as needed to maintain the accuracy of Clients’ Order Management Systems (OMS) and Middle Office IBOR recordkeeping systems.
- Manage the investigation and resolution of queries from a client support perspective.
- Communicate effectively on issues/problems to the Client and management, ensuring proper and timely follow-up for resolution.
- Collaborate with other teams to share approaches, develop best practices, and improve team capabilities.
- Interact with clients regionally and globally to ensure deliverables are met.
- Participate in weekly/monthly service review meetings as required.
Requirements
- Strong Front Office expertise.
- Charles River (CRD) and Middle Office IBOR recordkeeping system experience essential.
- 5+ years of Investment Management operational support experience.
- Broad and in-depth understanding of standards, methodologies, processes, systems, and technology necessary to support investment management operations.
- Product knowledge in Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, OTC.
- Excellent technical ability.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent client-facing and presentation skills.
- Motivated and team-oriented individual capable of working in an energizing environment while handling multiple tasks.
- Capable of adapting and leading through change.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, SQL coding, and accounting platforms.
- Performs work independently and analyzes and recommends solutions to complex and non-routine issues and special projects.
- Develops processes, procedures, and controls.
- Handles regular independent interaction with client contacts.
- Focus on performing complex tasks and providing business and technical expertise in support of multiple clients.
- Acts as an advisor to other areas of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or economics or equivalent work experience in finance or accounting.
- 3 plus years related industry experience.
- Working knowledge of Domestic and International financials and all related financial trading instruments.
- Detailed understanding of Front/Middle/Back Office Finance Operations.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to develop business relationships within and outside the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problems solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, balance workload and work in a deadline-oriented position.
- Ability to meet aggressive SLA Deadlines.
- Computer proficient including spreadsheet and database applications.
- Python/SQL/VBA/Macro experience.
- Previous trading software experience.
