About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Design Director (3D environments) with an uncompromising eye for environmental design to join our team, helping shape culturally relevant experiences for some of the world's most iconic brands. You'll transform ambitious ideas into sophisticated three-dimensional brand environments across sports, travel, art, hospitality, and culture. If you combine cultural curiosity with exceptional craft, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Design compelling 3D environments that translate brand strategy into immersive, unforgettable experiences.
- Present creative concepts with clarity, confidence and conviction, inspiring clients and internal teams alike.
- Ensure every design decision—from architecture and spatial planning to materials, finishes, furnishings, and graphics—works together as one cohesive vision.
- Partner with account, creative, production and fabrication teams to deliver experiences that are creatively exceptional and strategically effective.
- Develop environments informed by emerging cultural movements, contemporary design, architecture and art.
- Create experiences that reflect a deep understanding of audience behaviors, aspirations and expectations.
- Continuously introduce new references, materials and creative inspiration that elevate the work and expand our thinking.
- Own design from start to finish: Protect the idea through every stage—concepting, build, install, and everything in between.
- Partner with designers, producers and fabrication partners to ensure every detail is intentional and exceptionally executed.
- Explore new materials, fabrication techniques, and emerging technologies that redefine what's possible in brand experience.
- Keep design cohesive by partnering closely with design, production, strategy, and account teams.
- Maintain creative integrity even when timelines shift or budgets flex.
- Help foster a culture where ideas flow, every voice is heard, and collaboration feels energizing and fun.
Requirements
- 7+ years designing experiential environments for culturally driven brands.
- Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods and construction documentation.
- Experience leading designers while mentoring and elevating creative teams.
- You say “yes” more than “no”
- You carry the confidence and polish required to partner with top-tier clients
- You’re energized by pace—and thrive in high-style environments
- You raise the standard for both the work and the people around you.
- You're generous with ideas, thoughtful in collaboration, and invested in the success of the team.
