About the Role

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. The candidate will be a self-starter familiar with working in an Integrated Product Team construct, contributing to the design, development, testing, and documentation of software applications and systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems.
• Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers.
• Design, develop, and utilize electronic data processing systems.
• Determine computer user needs and analyze system capabilities to resolve problems.
• Prepare operating instructions.
• Design and develop compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
• Ensure software standards are met.
• Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
• Perform moderately complex professional tasks.
• Provide solutions to technical problems of increasing scope and complexity.
• Contribute to the completion of project milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM and 2 years of related engineering experience, OR a Master's degree in STEM and 0 years related engineering experience.
• Experience with a Coding Language.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP).
