About the Role
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. The candidate will be a self-starter familiar with working in an Integrated Product Team construct, contributing to the design, development, testing, and documentation of software applications and systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers.
- Design, develop, and utilize electronic data processing systems.
- Determine computer user needs and analyze system capabilities to resolve problems.
- Prepare operating instructions.
- Design and develop compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
- Ensure software standards are met.
- Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
- Perform moderately complex professional tasks.
- Provide solutions to technical problems of increasing scope and complexity.
- Contribute to the completion of project milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM and 2 years of related engineering experience, OR a Master's degree in STEM and 0 years related engineering experience.
- Experience with a Coding Language.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP).
