About the Role

As Assistant Boutique Manager, you will play a leading role in the success of the store by supporting the Store Manager to lead, coach and develop the team to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the store, ensuring the team is aligned with the Boutique and Brand vision, and efficiently taking control of the business in the Boutique Manager's absence. Your role will also involve elevating in-store events and drawing success from them.

Requirements

  • Proven retail experience preferably within cosmetics
  • The ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
  • Previous supervisory experience with a proven track record of coaching/mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation
  • Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Applicants must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for interview
  • Proven retail management/assistant retail management experience
  • Previous business planning experience including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis and staff scheduling
  • Previous retail operations experience including inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation
  • Proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Experience of creating and executing in-store events
