About the Role
As a Network DevOps Engineer, you will design, automate, and support Origin's enterprise network services. You will build scalable solutions, improve operational efficiency, and deliver secure, reliable network services by working across cloud, automation, and network operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain network automation solutions using Python, REST APIs, and modern DevOps practices.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines while improving network operations through automation and tooling.
- Manage and optimize enterprise network services including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, cloud connectivity, and secure gateways.
- Partner with engineering teams to design, implement, and support scalable network infrastructure and cloud-based services.
- Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Experience in a DevOps or Network Automation role with strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation using tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Experience supporting enterprise networking technologies including Cisco or Juniper environments.
- Understanding of modern networking including TCP/IP, SD-WAN, VPNs, and cloud networking concepts.
- A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for automating and improving operational services.
