About the Role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead growth across our Cyber Security Certification portfolio throughout Australia and New Zealand. This role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities, growing strategic accounts, and strengthening Bureau Veritas' position as a trusted certification partner in cyber security, information security, and digital resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development and achieve revenue growth targets across ANZ.
  • Build, manage and expand strategic client relationships and key accounts.
  • Promote Bureau Veritas' cyber security certification services, including ISO/IEC 27001 and related frameworks.
  • Lead the preparation of proposals, tenders and commercial submissions.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and support long-term client retention.
  • Monitor market trends, emerging regulations and growth opportunities within the cyber security sector.
  • Represent Bureau Veritas at industry events and networking activities.
  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven business development, sales or account management experience within certification, assurance, consulting or cyber security services.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security certification frameworks and information security management systems.
  • Demonstrated success in developing strategic client relationships and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience managing tenders, proposals and commercial negotiations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercially astute, self-motivated and results-focused.
  • Experience within a Certification Body or management systems certification environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, ISO 22301, SOC 2, Essential Eight and NIST.
  • Existing network across cyber security, risk, compliance or information security sectors.
  • Experience selling audit, certification, assurance or consulting services.
