About the Role
As a Back of House Assistant, you will support the delivery of excellent customer experiences by managing stock from the stock room to the selling floor with speed, accuracy, and efficiency. You will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, processing, organizing, labeling, and storing merchandise.
Responsibilities
- Support the Back of House Manager/Supervisor with handling deliveries.
- Maintain order and tidiness of the back of house area.
- Prevent stock damage and loss.
- Assist the sales team with product queries and customer requests.
- Collect requested footwear product styles/sizes with urgency and deliver them to customers on the shop floor.
- Ensure Back of House standards are maintained in line with company expectations.
- Ensure products are priced and tagged correctly.
- Assist in maintaining standards on the shop floor by replenishing stock levels.
- Ensure all size ranges are available on the shop floor.
- Work under the guidance of Store Manager and Back of House Management team to achieve KPIs and targets.
Requirements
- Customer service experience within retail, hospitality, or a like industry.
- Experience working in a Back of House or Warehouse environment is favourable, but not essential.
- Maintains a positive can-do attitude.
- Organizational skills.
- Strong operational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Ability to enthusiastically look at a challenge as an opportunity to develop yourself, your career, and learn new skills.
