Responsibilities
- Delivered small-group and one-on-one instruction to reinforce classroom lessons in reading, writing, mathematics, and other core subjects.
- Collaborated with classroom teachers to implement differentiated instruction and accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Supported students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 Plans, and intervention strategies as directed.
- Monitored student progress, documented academic and behavioral performance, and communicated observations with teachers and support staff.
- Assisted in implementing classroom management strategies and promoting positive student behavior.
- Prepared instructional materials, learning activities, and classroom resources to support daily instruction.
- Supervised students during classroom transitions, lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, and school activities.
- Fostered a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that encouraged student participation and independence.
- Communicated effectively with teachers, administrators, specialists, and families regarding student progress when appropriate.
- Participated in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives to support student success.
