About the Role
The Key Account Representative manages regional customer relationships within the semiconductor industry, implementing growth strategies to create value and achieve competitive differentiation. This role focuses on driving core growth in orders and shipments while collaborating across internal teams to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Implement account strategies and plans to achieve order, revenue, and margin projections
- Communicate and implement negotiated commercial terms
- Monitor and report competitive activity to the Global Account Manager
- Maintain customer profiles and SWOT analyses including sales potential, operating structure, sites, and contacts
- Leverage internal marketing, product management, and commercial operations teams to identify and communicate unmet customer needs
- Partner with technology and product teams to drive new product development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or Science
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales or key account management, preferably in the semiconductor industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and structured thinking
- Highly proactive approach
- Demonstrated expertise in building sustainable customer relationships
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing business requirements and priorities
- Ability to travel domestically up to 45–55%
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
