About the Role

Crowe's Federal Tax Consulting Services practice seeks a Senior Manager to lead projects in energy tax credits and R&D tax credits, assisting in revenue expansion by working with existing clients and business development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage R&D projects with a focus on growing R&D tax credit engagements for Energy companies.
  • Manage Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship (PWA) engagements for energy projects.
  • Manage Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and Production Tax Credit (PTC) studies.
  • Perform tax technical analysis and draft reports for clients.
  • Drive business development and sales growth.
  • Exhibit proven leadership and project management skills in managing client service teams and multiple projects.
  • Perform tax technical analysis and quality review on tax credit studies.
  • Communicate tax technical issues to the broader team.
  • Lead client discussions with multiple stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute project work plans.
  • Develop appropriate quantitative and qualitative documentation to support project results.
  • Mentor and develop staff and young professionals, including on-the-job technical training and coaching.
  • Provide leadership insight to the existing leadership team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Engineering, or related degree required.
  • At least 7+ years experience in public accounting; strong preference for Big 4 or large regional firm experience.
  • Experience in the subject matter areas described above preferred.
  • CPA, EA, or PE credential required.
