About the Role

PEMCCO is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, development, integration, testing, implementation, and sustainment of systems supporting government mission requirements. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer who enjoys working across the system lifecycle, translating requirements into solutions, and helping deliver reliable, effective, and mission-ready capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support systems engineering activities throughout the system lifecycle
  • Analyze user, operational, and system requirements
  • Assist in the development of system architectures, concepts, and technical solutions
  • Support system integration, testing, verification, and validation activities
  • Evaluate system performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation, including requirements, specifications, plans, and reports
  • Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, and engineering assessments
  • Coordinate with engineers, developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to support project objectives
  • Assist in identifying and resolving system-level technical issues
  • Support configuration management, risk management, and implementation activities
  • Ensure systems engineering activities comply with applicable standards, policies, and requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physical Science, or a related technical discipline
  • Three (3) years of experience in systems engineering, systems analysis, systems integration, systems development, or a related technical field
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies
  • Knowledge of system development and lifecycle management processes
  • Knowledge of requirements analysis, system integration, and testing concepts
  • Ability to analyze technical requirements and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation
  • Proficiency with standard engineering and productivity tools
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if required
  • Advanced coursework or specialized training in systems engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs
  • Experience supporting systems integration and testing efforts
  • Experience developing technical documentation and engineering artifacts
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments
