About the Role

We are seeking a product designer to design, prototype, and ship high-quality software. The ideal candidate will create products that are cohesive, quiet, and precise, enhancing the clinician's experience and allowing them to focus more on patient care. You will own features from concept to launch, collaborating closely with engineers and focusing on both high-level architecture and detailed execution.

Responsibilities

  • Produce pixel-precise, interaction-complete work suitable for a portfolio.
  • Utilize AI tools to generate variants, accelerate exploration, and refine solutions.
  • Collaborate directly with engineers during implementation, reviewing builds and ensuring quality.
  • Focus on details such as type choices, spacing, motion, and micro-interactions to elevate software quality.
  • Work within and contribute to the design system, applying existing patterns and identifying gaps.
  • Share work early and provide/receive honest critique.

Requirements

  • A portfolio showcasing craft at the component and screen level, evoking a positive user response.
  • Regular and intentional use of AI tools (e.g., Figma AI, Claude Code) in the workflow.
  • Strong foundational skills in typography, layout, color, and component architecture.
  • Ability to defend design decisions with reasoned arguments beyond user testing data.
