About the Role

We are hiring our first finance hire to build the finance function of Revin from the ground up. You will work directly with our VP of Operations and leadership to own the numbers that run the company: the model, the forecast, and every dollar that moves in or out. This is a founding, hands-on role where you will build the model and close the books, set the forecast and chase the invoice. You will design the systems and hire against them as we scale. This role offers the opportunity to own finance end-to-end at a company on a steep growth curve.

Responsibilities

  • Own the financial model, including building and maintaining it for leadership and board use.
  • Own the forecast, defending assumptions and ensuring model accuracy.
  • Own month-end close end-to-end, including accruals, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting.
  • Design the close process for continuous improvement and speed.
  • Own the full order-to-cash cycle, including invoicing, collections, and revenue integrity.
  • Own burn, runway, and scenario planning.
  • Build dashboards and board materials for data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner on fundraising initiatives.
  • Serve as an analytical partner to the business, focusing on pricing, gross margin, CAC, payback, cohort economics, and ROI for major investments.
  • Establish the finance operating system, including tooling, controls, and cadences.
  • Automate recurring tasks and create playbooks for future finance hires.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or a founding finance role at a high-growth startup.
  • Hands-on ownership of modeling, close, and reporting.
  • Top-tier education from a highly selective and academically rigorous environment and/or experience at top-performing SaaS or AI companies.
  • Ability to build financial models from scratch and present to a board.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Comfort with accounting and billing systems.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or data extraction tools like Claude and ChatGPT is a plus.
  • A bias toward action and iterative improvement.
  • Desire to own a function and contribute to building a significant company.
  • Willingness to work 50+ hour work weeks.
  • Excitement about applying AI in the built world.
  • Willingness to own the entire finance function, including close, billing, and collections.
