About the Role

Bridge the gap between customer needs and platform capabilities by translating customer workflows into working solutions during the sales process. This role involves customer empathy, sales strategy, and technical execution to demonstrate the value of Canvas Medical's EMR.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with prospects, customers, and internal partners to identify key clinical and operational workflows.
  • Translate workflow insights into clear, end-to-end solution proposals.
  • Balance current prospect needs with future scalability.
  • Document learnings and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing.
  • Build MVP versions of proposed solutions using agent-assisted development tools.
  • Develop and deploy agents with prospective customers during the sales process.
  • Demonstrate working prototypes, showing fluency in event-driven design, handlers, and effects.
  • Iterate rapidly on prototypes based on prospect feedback.
  • Create and maintain reusable solution patterns and playbooks.
  • Collaborate across sales, customer success, implementation, engineering, and product teams.
  • Bridge business and technical contexts to advance deals.
  • Surface and track quality signals to inform iteration.
  • Shadow senior team members and progressively own lower-complexity engagements.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or early-career candidate in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Engineering, UX, Applied Data, or related discipline.
  • Comfort and hands-on experience with AI and agent-assisted development tools, particularly Claude Code and similar tools.
  • Deep interest in healthcare technology and EMR systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort learning and working with modern SDKs, APIs, and plugin-based architectures.
  • Willingness to ramp into concepts like event-driven design, handlers, and effects.
  • Ability to identify leverage points and reusable solution patterns.
  • Understanding of healthcare delivery challenges and provider workflow pain points.
  • Interest in healthcare automation and improving clinical operations.
  • Ability to engage with clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders.
  • Collaborative by default and thrives working across growth and technical teams.
  • Growth mindset with rapid learning velocity.
  • Productive tension management and comfort wrestling with trade-offs.
  • Comfortable with AI and excited about applying new tools and watching how they develop.
  • Formal software development experience or coursework (Python, JavaScript, or similar) is a plus.
  • Exposure to building or working with SDKs, frontend/backend integrations, or plugin architectures is a plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data workflows, standards, or provider-facing tooling is a plus.
  • Experience drafting solution proposals, specs, or mockups for technical systems is a plus.
  • Prior customer-facing experience in a technical capacity is a plus.
