About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Manage access, welcome visitors, support security-related procedures, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication in a dynamic tech location.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by greeting employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk, following site-specific access procedures and security-related policies for a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Monitor lobby activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and support badge issuance, sign-in processes, and related front desk administrative tasks in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Observe cameras, alarms, and entry points from the front desk area, document security-related events, and report concerns according to post orders and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
