About the Role

This role provides flexible, dependable hours for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with an industry leader. As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Coverage, you will provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and effectively, documenting observations and reporting concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, transit-access areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity and identify security issues.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and public-facing areas, assisting with access control, visitor processing, and directing individuals.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations, communicating professionally with site personnel and the public.

Requirements

• At least 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
