About the Role

Drive member experience and product enhancements for the P&C property portfolio, leveraging data & analytics to foster quicker decision making and identify innovation opportunities. Lead high-impact initiatives in partnership with other leaders across the Association.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of digital-first products supporting member needs and risks.
  • Support efforts to develop and launch new innovative product offerings and auxiliary/enhanced features/services for existing products.
  • Advise on the launch of new products and the evaluation to buy/build or partner.
  • Generate creative product and coverage solutions for member needs to ensure a dynamic product development pipeline.
  • Maintain knowledge of business and underwriting performance for products in scope.
  • Analyze internal and external data and member information to support product strategy formulation and enhance competitive intelligence.
  • Conduct analysis of key data to support ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and underwriting of existing 'new in market' products.
  • Develop and communicate the new product value proposition for product enhancements/features.
  • Guide Member Contact teams on effective use of sales guides and provide education on new products and services.
  • Analyze and evaluate new product performance metrics to recommend offering changes prior to full launch.
  • Coordinate with relevant control partners to ensure product offerings comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Statistics; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
  • 6 years relevant experience in Actuary, Underwriting, Marketing, Operations, Financial Services or relevant military experience.
  • Experience conducting research, compiling and analyzing data, and identifying trends that have supported product decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, deploying and supporting product and/or integrated suite of products.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC).
