About the Role

Celestica is seeking a Supply Chain Associate based out of Toronto to join their fast-paced and growing Hardware Platform Solutions SCM team. The Supply Chain Associate will support multiple Supply Chain Directors and engage with several global manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities

• Works closely on multiple SCM accounts in Hardware Platform Solutions vertical.
• Prepares quarterly pricing documents, costing analysis, pricing increase tracking, consolidates data from supply chain risk reviews, and tracks part qualifications with the GDS team.
• Manages multiple deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously, including working with Thailand, Mexico, and Shanghai sites.
• Consolidates, tabulates, analyzes, and reports on various commitment and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines on multiple projects at once.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.
• Ability to evaluate, prioritize, and problem-solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.

Skills

• Strong systems skills, including common office platforms such as MS Office (Excel, Access).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures.
• Basic understanding of specific customer needs.
• Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience with SAP and Rapid Response is an asset.
