About the Role

The Non CDL Driver is responsible for driving a company vehicle with a GVW of 14,900 to deliver foodservice products to customers. This role focuses on providing high-level service while ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, timely, and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
• Load and unload the vehicle for multi-stop deliveries
• Transport deliveries by driving assigned vehicles
• Use hand truck to move product into customer locations, including navigating stairs
• Accurately record delivery information using a hand scanner and required documentation
• Manage documentation and disposition for return products
• Communicate delivery or customer issues to appropriate personnel
• Deliver products following the designated stop sequence
• Unload and stage product in customer-designated spaces
• Verify invoices, process paperwork, and handle damaged merchandise
• Collect payments when necessary
• Monitor vehicle refrigeration systems and follow safe food handling procedures
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Replenish fuel and monitor fluid levels

Requirements

• DOT Medical Card
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with proper endorsements
• No more than two traffic violation convictions in the past two years
• No DUI convictions in the past three years
• No driver’s license suspensions in the past three years
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Must pass a DOT physical
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

• One year of multi-stop delivery experience preferred
• Six months local delivery or foodservice industry experience preferred

Salary/Compensations

• $25.31 per hour starting
• $25.31/hr to $27.17/hr expected base rate
• Overtime compensation
