About the Role

DARCARS Collision Center is seeking a motivated Auto Body Technician / Mechanic Helper to join their growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in high-quality workmanship and aim to build a long-term career in automotive collision repair. The technician will assist in repairing damaged vehicle bodies and components according to manufacturer and dealership specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work detailed on vehicle repair orders in accordance with manufacturer standards
• De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with urgency and strong attention to detail
• Maintain and assist with identifying and sourcing parts and materials
• Meet or exceed the Collision Center’s productivity requirements
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working conditions
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations (including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know)

Requirements

• Entry-level candidates welcome; experienced technicians strongly encouraged to apply
• Previous automotive or collision repair experience preferred
• CSI and quality scores above the regional average preferred
• Ability to perform vehicle repair and maintenance services efficiently
• Team-oriented with the ability to work on repetitive and complex tasks
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background check)
